No, the foot massagers are not designed to heat up water from cold. Instead, they help maintain the temperature of the water you pour in. You’ll need to fill the pedicure tub (with a disposable liner inserted) using warm or hot water at a comfortable temperature for your client.
When the heat option is selected, the surface of the base unit will begin to warm up—typically reaching temperatures between 95°F and 205°F (depending on the model) within 2–3 minutes. This heated surface helps keep the bottom of the pedicure tub warm, slowing down the cooling process and keeping your client’s feet comfortable throughout the pedicure.
